Winstrol is the most widely known brand name for the drug Stanozolol. Stanozolol is a derivative of dihydrotestosterone chemically altered so that the anabolic properties of the hormone (tissue compound) are significantly enhanced, androgenic activity is minimized. Stanozolol is classified as an “anabolic” steroid, and has one of the strongest dissociation of anabolic and androgenic effects among commercially available drugs. The drug does not aromatize into estrogen. Stanozolol is the second most commonly used orally steroid, second only to Dianabol (Methandrostenolone). It is so highly valued among bodybuilders and professional athletes because of its ability to promote muscle growth without retaining moisture.

Studies have shown that oral ingestion of anabolic steroids with food can reduce their bioavailability. This is caused by the fat-soluble nature of steroid hormones, which can allow some of the drug to dissolve in undigested food fats, reducing its absorption from the gastrointestinal tract. For maximum benefit, use Stanozolol should be taken orally on an empty stomach. There may be significant discrepancies in the particle size of various preparations of injection of Stanozolol. For example, Stanozolol oral (Winstrol) from Zambon (Spain) was developed for human use, and looks like a fine powder passing through a 27 gauge needle. Winstrol®-V is a veterinary product manufactured in the US and Canada and contains larger particles that can become stuck in a needle that is less than 22 gauge. The use of larger particles can lead to more discomfort at the injection site. Forms of Stanozolol, which are orally tolerated orally, can cause intolerable pain in an injectable form.

The original guidelines for taking Winstrol are a daily dose equal to 6 mg, which is administered one tablet of 2 mg three times a day. The usual dosage for users who want to improve their physique or increase their productivity is 15-25 mg per day, or 3-5 5 mg tablets taken no more than 6-8 weeks. Winstrol injections are generally recommended in clinical doses of one injection, equal to 50 mg, every 2-3 weeks. When used to improve physique or increase productivity, the dose of 50 mg every other day is most often applied. Veterinary preparations of Stanozolol with a large particle size are slowly absorbed in the body, and are usually used in doses of 75 mg every three days. Doses of Stanozolol 50 mg per day are not an infectious injection, but are not recommended. Please note that the injection forms of the drug have a greater anabolic effect than oral. When used to improve physique or increase productivity, the most common dose is 5-10 mg per day for a period of no more than 4-6 weeks. Injectable Winstrol is generally recommended in clinical doses of 50 mg every 2-3 weeks. Injection is not recommended for women to improve physique or increase productivity, since it is less possible to control the level of the hormone in the blood. Women who absolutely need injection use usually use 25 mg every 3 or 4 days. Although the substance is slightly androgenic, the risk of masculinization can not be completely ruled out even when used in therapeutic doses.
